#NOTD #OMBRE

Hello bbloggers!
One thing I love which is no secret is NAIL ART!
I recently went to a nail salon in Amesbury which is close to where I live and had these beautiful nails done which I'd like to share with you.

I'm a massive lover of the effect you get with Shelac, and the fact it can stay on your nails without chipping for 2 weeks is fab! If you're going on your summer holidays or to a festival you no longer need to take loads of nail varnish with you now. A quick trip to the salon for some Shelac and you'll have beautiful nails from when you leave the house until you get home.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Blush

Oh hello there new blusher.. If you've ever tried Estée Lauders blushers in the past you will understand why I have been using them for the last 4 years. They're so pigmented and long lasting which is great, especially for nights out because you don't have to keep re applying make up. Although I still probably do :).

I usually wear Sensious Rose, however when I was in the duty free a few weeks ago I fell in love with the shade Pink Kiss. £25 well spent because the shade is beautiful. I wear Estée Lauders Double Wear foundation as well which works great with this blusher.

I would advise building this blusher up slowly as it is very pigmented and the results won't be pretty. The lady at the duty free counter applied this blusher onto me and left me looking like a menopausal woman having a hot flush , which on that particular day wasn't the look I was going for.

Are you a big Lauder fan like I am? If so I would love to hear what products of theirs are your holy grail.

Naked 3 featuring @cohorted

Hello there lovelies!
I'm quite excited about this post today because it's about a product I've been lusting after for a while. The naked 3 which is a staple to a lot of bbloggers make up kits is simply amazing. I snapped this up for £18.50 ( yes you read correctly) from www.cohorted.co.uk. Basically how this website works is the more people that buy the cheaper the product is.That's how I managed to snap the Naked 3 palette up with 50% off. I would recommend this website to all beauty lovers who love a bargain.

The shades in the palette are perfect for me. I tend to be boring and always wear brown or pale pink eye shadow so I'll definitely get a lot of use out of the Naked 3.
If anyone has any tutorials using this palette, send the links my way! :)

YSL Lipstick review

Hello there :)

Here is my latest lippie addition. I've realised that YSL lipsticks are like buses. You don't get one for ages, and then two come at once. Not that I'm complaing mind.

I went for shade 15 when I was feeling very brave on holiday. I am forever wearing pink lipsticks so I figured it was time for a change and decided on this beautiful coral shade.

As you can see the colour is really vibrant so it wasn't a surprise that I was a tad nervous wearing it at first. It applies really smoothly and looks gorgeous on, especially with a bit of a tan.
Like I said in my other YSL lipstick review, the packaging and attention to detail are simply stunning and luxurious looking. No brand come close to YSL when it comes to the packaging. I love it.
What lipstick shades are you going to be rocking this SS?

Mini Nail Polish Haul!

Hello there lovelies!

The weather has turned slightly depressing again so one way I'm trying to brighten up my day is by painting my nails with these beautiful shades from Barry M and Rimmel.

The Silk and Aquamarine are Barry M's latest releases. The silk colours are so pretty and perfect for spring. The aquamarine range they brought out is also brilliant. At first I wasn't too keen on the colours because I thought they were more suitable for winter, but that didn't stop me purchasing one. And I doubt it will stop me purchasing more!

Now, the Rita Ora for Rimmel collection. I've been wearing this shade non stop since purchasing it. It's definitely my favourite colour polish to wear at the moment. I would be a very happy girl if I had all the polishes from this range. You'll understand why if you look at the image below.

The lip crayons are also fab. I've been trying number 220 rumour has it for the last week and I must say that I'm so pleased with it. Review of this will be up in the next few days.
I really wish they would stop bringing out new shades all the time because I always feel the need to own then. I think it's time I went on a nail varnish spending ban! Can anyone else sympathise with my nail polish obsession?

Yummy Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies

These brownies have gone down like a storm. They're messy, gooey and god damn tasty! This was the first batch I've ever made and I think it's fair to say I will be making them a lot more from now until Easter.

Ingredients

185g unsalted butter
185g dark chocolate
40g cocoa powder
85g plain flour
3 eggs
275g caster sugar
5 creme eggs ( you can use more/less if you want)

Firstly, preheat the oven to 180 (gas mark 4). Whilst the ovens heating up you can get on with the prep work.
Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over a pan of hot water, stirring occasionally. Whilst that's melting, mix together the 3 eggs and sugar with an electric whisk on a high speed until you have a mousse like consistency. This should take 2-3 minutes. Once your chocolate and butter have melted, add them to a separate bowl with the melted chocolate and butter, and then combine it all together. Sift in the flour and cocoa powder and gently fold in -

If you have a proper brownie tin that's great, use it. If not, any square tin will do like the one I used. Pour the mix in and then whack it in the oven for 15 minutes

Whilst the brownie is baking, start halving the Creme Eggs. This is a skill I tell you. I found it easier if you use a serrated knife. It doesn't matter if the eggs aren't cut exactly in half because it's quite a messy bake anyway.

Let the brownie bake for a further 10 minutes until they are completely done and nice and gooey.

Portion the brownie up and then you're ready to serve. I can't express how good these taste so you'll have to bake some for yourself to see. If you do, let me know how you get on.
Enjoy

Gladiator Sandals

Well well well, what do we have here? Only the Curly wurly blogs first fashion post, that's what! I thought I'd start off small and from the bottom (literally) with SHOES!

I'm going on holiday in just under a fortnight and desperately need a new pair of sandals. These are the 3 pairs that have caught my eye that I can't decide between!

I'm a big fan of the gladiator sandal as you can see, and would like to purchase them all however my purse is saying no! I really like the style of the River Island sandals because they remind me of shoes that I used to wear with a summer dress in primary school. I think if I opted for the white pair I'd be tempted to wear a pair of frilly socks with them (strong look). I think I'm leaning more towards the middle pair because they've got a bit of a heel on them which is always a winner when you're slightly on the small side.

What do you guys think? Help me decide which pair to get :)
